바디앤서울은 경리단길에 위치한 클래스 전문 피트니스입니다. 무에타이, 킥복싱, 주짓수, 종합격투기, 필라테스, 요가, 파이트핏 등 다양한 클래스가 준비되어 있습니다. 수업은 영어/한국어로 진행됩니다.
Body & Seoul is located in the Kyungnidan area of Itaewon, right in the heart of Seoul. Our center offers Muay Thai kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (gi & nogi), MMA, Krav Maga, Pilates, Yoga, and FightFit group fitness classes, all at affordable rates. We also offer personal training, kids classes, and various workshops such as Tai Chi. All our classes are taught in English, with translating done for our Korean-speaking members. At Body & Seoul, you can get fit, have fun, and learn valuable self-defense skills all at the same time!
NOTICE OF CLOSURE
Dear Body & Seoulsters,
They say that all good things must come to an end. I knew that day would come for Body & Seoul, but I didn’t think it would be this sudden. After 8 years and 8 months of whipping people into shape and turning them into modern-day warriors and yogis, we are faced with having to close immediately.
Unfortunately we’ve reached the end of our lease contract, and an unexpected rise in costs has made it too pricey for us to survive. Expenses have gone up tremendously over the last several years, but our model of providing high quality classes at low monthly membership fees hasn’t changed, creating a business that is no longer sustainable.
The last day of classes will be Wednesday, February 6. Until then, we will continue to run our most popular classes. The final schedule is posted under the Schedule tab and in Zen Planner.
We are very sorry to have to break this news, especially to those of you who signed up for memberships this month. All of you will immediately be upgraded to unlimited status, so hopefully you can take advantage of training hard over these next several days. Some of you may be entitled to a partial reimbursement, and we will reach out to you on an individual basis. Thank you in advance for your patience regarding this matter.
If your membership ran out and would like to continue training until the day we close (like the warriors you are), please consider our 5 or 10 Class Pass options, or you could always do drop-ins.
My sincerest apologies for not being able to continue to provide you with a space to punch, kick, grapple, sprint, swing, lift, and downward dog in, but I genuinely hope that you were able to grow in our space and gain from it. I first opened Body & Seoul with the intention of sharing my love for martial arts, yoga, and physical fitness with the local community, and since then, we have had well over 3000 students train on our mat, sharing that same love. We’ve created not just warriors, athletes, and yogis, but also lifelong friendships and partnerships. I hope that you are able to continue your training, wherever that may be (please feel free to email me for suggestions), and continue to make progress physically and spiritually. In doing so, you will carry on the spirit of Body & Seoul. Thanks for the memories and the awesome training, everyone! I wish you the best of luck.
